"Painted in Peel: Landscapes by the Group of Seven and their
Contemporaries" Thursday, November 25th - 7:00 - 8:00pm The Gallery 9 Wellington St. Brampton, ON (near Gage Park in downtown Brampton) CCA Member Admission: $10.00 For CCA's first event of the season we have organized a one hour long tour of the Painted in Peel Exhibit especially for CCA members. Judy Daley, Assistant Curator, conceived of this show while doing some on-line research. It is the most ambitious show ever mounted by the Peel Art Gallery and it includes works from the National Gallery of Canada, the McMichael Gallery and the AGO. A total of 55 paintings will be on display along with letters, sketches and artifacts. The subject matter is our beloved hills - the very countryside we strive to protect.

Tour participants are invited to continue viewing the exhibits and/or visit other areas in the gallery after the tour. We will go out for socializing afterwards depending on the interests of the group attending.
